OrO is the Educational Research and Development department of the Amsterdam University for Professional Education (HvA).

OrO’s activities center around researching and implementing educational innovation, based on the concept of 'learning to learn', or ‘motivational learning’.

Ours is a competence-based approach to learning and programs: our core business, as we perceive it, is the design of inspiring learning environments.

Babel. That’s right, finishing where we left off. Making tower meet sky so you can play dice with the Man and Woman Upstairs. Our building plans are universal, so just tear your tongue out right now ‘cause you won’t need it. And while you’re at it, take your tattered cultural baggage, fill it with soul candy, and tack it to the celestial. This is gonna be a party, and we’ll beat that cultural piñata until it rains.
Babel speaks your language. Babel stands with you toe to toe and eye to eye. Babel always turns the other cheek. Babel begs you to dip your hand in and rip out our hearts. They’re yours. But Babel demands allegiance. To be our master, you must be our slave. For we are the generals who know too much to lead, the foot soldiers who know too much to follow. Join our ranks. The weak we’ll make our kings. Of the strong? We’ll make them our fools. Babel invites you to get nekkid and boogie to the universal beat - stone on stone in an endless rhythm to the heavens.

Culture, factor of Realpolitik :

influence of cultural and religious history on modernity

The interculturality is not cultural tourism and the culture is more than the folklore.

Today, the international politics must be apprehended from the "metapolitic" point of view.

No authentic cultural pluralism is possible without political pluralism.

It is essential for world civilization to ensure the compatibility of technology and the culture.

In the mosaic of the cultures and civilizations, technology is not neutral, it must pass by a process of acculturation, to be in harmony with the cultural and religious traditions to ensure political stability and a durable economic development.

The world civilization of the 21e century must be apprehended in a preoccupation with a dialogue, by avoiding a centralizing approach in all the fields of the life, across all the monisms.

It is advisable to carry outa "cultural disarmament" of technocracy, to carry out a dialogue which is truly one, because military disarmament with him only is not enough.

World civilization is equivalent to a multiple universe of cultures, it is necessary to arrive to a polylogy of the cultures. How Credible is Coca-Cola? Beyond Coke's Crimes in Colombia:
This is a summary of Coke's abuses outside Colombia which should be very useful for public relations and organizing efforts. We're anxious to receive articles and other information that we can use to further document the case against Coke. We believe the evidence shows that Coca-Cola and its corporate network is rife with immorality, corruption and complicity in murder. Since Coca-Cola consistently fails to live up to the standards for “corporate responsibility” as set out in its own “code of business conduct,” this report should be helpful to students, faculty and others seeking to rescind, not renew or not consider contracts with Coke.
